MANAGEMENTа

In order to better co-ordinate the project a management group consisting of the project co-ordinator (Dr. C. Gillen), team leader from Apatity (Dr. F.F. Gorbatsevich) and team member from Apatity (Prof. F.P. Mitrofanov) will be established. The management group will be in continuous contact by E-mail and deliver information to other teams.

Primarily exchange of information and main communications between teams will be undertaken by E-mail. At various stages of the project members of different teams will meet, collaborate and discuss at the Industrial and Scientific Centre "Kola Superdeep", Zapolyarny or at the Geological Institute KSC RAS, Apatity. The team leaders and members will discuss recent progress at UNESCO IGCP-408, EUG, EGS and other meetings.

It is supposed to exchange visits for mastering sample test methods for rocks under load (Apatity Ц Kiel Ц Prague) and mineralogy (Zapolyarny Ц Yekaterinburg Ц Helsinki Ц Giessen Ц Nancy), monitoring of fluid and micro-seismic regime in super-deep boreholes (Zapolyarny Ц Yekaterinburg Ц Helsinki), joint petrophysical tests (Apatity Ц Kiel Ц Prague Ц Giessen).
